It is days before the wedding and preparations are well underway. Now that Mnqobi's trucks are running copper ore south from Congo, he is approached by a German export company Hummel to transport goods north in their empty vehicles.  It seems like a win-win situation and negotiations get underway. Down in Thuthukani, Spikiri visits Khwezi's old school and finds an address for the Mbatha family, but what he discovers when he gets there defies belief. He calls Dumile and tells her to join him immediately. He has uncovered information that will change everything. But when Dumile stops off en route her tyres are slashed. Can Spikiri come back and collect her?  And will they make it back in time for the wedding?
